In a couple of months, this will be part of something involving music. That's all I'm saying. Black ink, my hand, tooth brush, a brush, white ink, bristol. 

Horse beats man.

I inked this sucker three times. The first, I spilt ink on, second didn't work out. So, here's the third. I'm beyond caring about it now. Microns, brush pen, black and white ink, ink wash on bristol. 

P.S. I love horses and all animals. It's just a drawing.

So, I failed at Inktober in a big bad way. I just had and have too much going on this month to get a sketch done everyday. A lame excuse I know. Sorry folks. Here are three I was able to get done. Microns, brush pen on bristol. 

I've got a bad feeling about this.

Well, I'm trying my hand at Inktober. A inked drawing a day, for the whole month of October. I'm not sure if I can pull it off, but I'll try. I'm thinking I'll post a weeks worth of drawings, just to save time and space on the old blog. So, here's #1. Microns, brush pen, white ink on bristol. Wish me luck!

The Bodyguard.

A sketch of Manji, from one of my favorite comic series, Blade of the Immortal. I picked up the first trade at San Diego comic con, years and years and years ago. I'm still hooked. I love it! Microns, brush pen, white ink on bristol.

Something in the works.

A guest, part 2.

On my recent trip to Vancouver, I had the pleasure to hang with a rad little dude named Oskar. Turns out that he's also a great artist! So, here's some of his work that he did in my sketch book. I'm glad someone used it. Thanks to Fiona and Cory for allowing me post Oskar's masterpieces. 

More dust.

Another 365 days around the sun. Thanks to my parents, family and friends for putting up with me for so long. Live for today folks and have fun!!

A little sneak peek from Boston #4. Pencils for the issue are almost done, then on to #5! Also, I would like to wish a huge happy birthday to Josh Flanagan. He's a great writer, collaborator, editor, cheer leader and friend. Years on, I'm glad I responded to a post he put out looking for an artist. Probably one of my smatter moments.

Working on the last roughs for Boston #4 and just wanted to ink something. Well, this is what I came up with. .5 Micron, brush pen on bristol.

Sick and tired of being sick and tired, I went through my records and started playing some of them. Next thing I knew, all I was playing was metal. Old school metal. Possessed by the music, I was at the desk drawing. Metals biggest fan. Microns, brush pen, white ink on bristol.

Nothing like having a cold in the heart of winter. I feel like garbage. I thought doing a sketch would help somehow... it didn't. Brush pen, colouring pencils on rag tag paper.

Here's a drawing from Sean Davis. Sean is one of my oldest and best friends. Also, he's a killer artist. He can draw like crazy and he's unreal when it comes to photography. I've been bugging him to start a blog, site, tumblr...whatever to show off his wicked skills. Maybe someday, until then here you go. A million tiny dots. Might be more. I just wish I could have scanned this sucker.
